What's In a Name?

Welcome to the new Innovations in Healthcare website! When our organization was established in 2011, our name -- the International Partnership for Innovative Healthcare Delivery -- reflected our core mission to connect innovators, corporations, foundations, funders, governments, academics and others to strengthen, scale and replicate innovations with the potential to improve access to affordable healthcare around the world.

That mission has not changed. But as our organization has grown and evolved, we recognized that a simpler name – one that’s easier to say and remember – can help all of us better showcase and spread the innovative work of our network around the world. To borrow from Shakespeare, a rose by any other name smells just as sweet: our core mission and values will not change. While staying true to our mission, we are enthusiastic that our new name more clearly communicates our vision and work, and will strengthen our ability to engage with a strong and expanding community committed to scaling healthcare innovation worldwide. We will continue to source the most promising solutions in healthcare delivery, strengthen the organizations in our network, help spread innovations across the world, and study what works.

We are proud of our new name and look forward to continuing our great work together with all of you. Please browse this new website and share the news with your colleagues and friends!
