Last Mile Health partners with governments to build strong community health systems that equip professionalized community health workers to provide essential primary healthcare in the world’s most remote communities. The organization works side-by-side with Ministries of Health in Ethiopia, Liberia, Malawi, and Sierra Leone. For nearly 20 years, Last Mile Health has been working to realize a vision of a health worker in reach of everyone, everywhere. Alongside Ministry partners, the organization has equipped 16,425 rural and remote community and frontline health workers with supervision, supplies, salary, skills, information systems, or digital tools, and those community and frontline health workers reach a population of more than 19.6 million people.
