Peter became Marketing Director in August 2015 and is responsible for MicroEnsure’s global marketing, communication, customer engagement, product development and innovation portfolio. From 2013-2015, as Regional Director for Africa, Peter led a period of growth in the company’s footprint from 4 to 10 African markets and from 2 to 6 million customers. He and the team launched multi-country partnerships with Airtel Africa and Barclays Bank, using MicroEnsure’s product and service set to drive core business growth for distribution partners. A frequent conference speaker, Peter is recognized as a leader in providing financial services to the mass market at scale. Peter began his career with MicroEnsure as Country Manager - Ghana in 2010, where he first built the company’s mobile and bank loyalty strategies and product set. Prior to joining MicroEnsure, Peter worked in various marketing, operations and recruiting roles for a large private firm in the US. He holds degrees from Oxford University, Emory University, and Davidson College.
