Last week, Innovations in Healthcare hosted the 6th Annual Forum from March 20-21, 2017 in Washington, DC. This year’s forum gave attendees the opportunity to interact with more than forty of the world’s most savvy healthcare innovators.
This exclusive, invitation-only forum was well-attended by nearly 100 representatives from multi-national corporations, investment firms, foundations, and academic institutions. Some of the featured speakers and attendees included Victor Dzau, President of the National Academy of Medicine, Mark McClellan, Director of the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, and Wendy Taylor, Former Director of the Center for Accelerating Innovation and Impact at USAID.
Over the two-day period, attendees were:
- Introduced to the new Innovations in Healthcare cohort
- Exposed to the role of policy, advocacy, and reverse innovation while scaling across borders
- Energized during panel discussions about funding and partnerships, and healthcare innovation in Southeast Asia and East Africa
