Our team in Nairobi is gearing up for the release of its newest research.
They will be participating in a number of events around the Sankalp Africa 2016 Summit (Feb 25th – 27th). The highlight of the week will be the launch of the East Africa Health Innovation Landscape. This report will summarize research conducted in 2015, including interviews with 60 stakeholders across multiple sectors, and data from our 2015 healthcare innovator pipeline sourcing initiatives. It will include the viewpoints of public and private sector players, investors, grant makers, donors, academic institutions, organizations in the health and social enterprise space, and technology sector players.
The first week in March, we will be hosting two events, one for Women Entrepreneurs in Health and another on the SEAD East Africa Capacity Building Fund. Our Executive Director Krishna Udayakumar will be presenting about the SEAD program at both events.
You can learn more about our East African research and have a chance to chat with our team at our upcoming Annual Forum, this April 4th and 5th in Washington, D.C. For more information about this invitation-only event, contact Jenny Cook at Jennifer.cook@duke.edu
